Hey people, it's the exam season again. Haha somehow even though we've been through so many exams, we still can't help being stressed by the fear of doing badly for it, and it seems to only get worse as we go to higher levels. The competition gets stiffer, the exams get harder, we feel more uncertain than ever and the escapist mentality creeps it such that we never wished so hard to be able to just get away from it all. Oh well, all we can do is to complain/ procrastinate/ vent our frustrations out and then get on with the revision and keep ourselves going by counting down to the end of the nightmare and the start of the wonderful December holidays. Take care people! Especially when we most probably will mess up our biological clock with all the last minute mugging. Haha, think of xiao4 zhang3's pre-exam announcements: baobei, duo he shui, duo chi shui guo! JIAYOU EVERYONE and hope to catch up during the holidays!

Hey Puritans! Raffles Hall is having a performance soon! For the past month, we have been working really hard for it, working from monday to friday (except wednesday) from 8 to 12pm for it. I'm in Sets and which means we build the platform the cast step on, the backdrop, the props and furniture needed etc. Yah, so even though you won't be seeing me on stage on the performance day, I really hope you can come support us (I'll be backstage ready to help change settings between scenes). oh yes, if you come, please look out for the BOOKSHELF in the classroom scene cos that was built by me (and my friend). haha. ok, the details now..

Venue: University Cultural Centre (UCC) at NUS Ticket price: $12 for matinee and $15 for night

Try to book your tickets early cos the earlier you buy, the better the seats we can get for you, especially if you all want to be seated together. For the matinee show, there'll be no programme bookllet and intermission call. Hope to see you there! :)

Hey, people.. try to keep this blog alive no matter how busy you all are, ok? I mean, we really don't see much of one another, it'll really be nice if you could just blog a bit about what's going on with you life lately. There's thirty over people so if everyone blogs something once in a while, the blog would be alive! :)

Anyway, today's kinda like my last day at home cos I'm moving in to NUS Raffles Hall tomorrow. Yes, the [oldest and lau-pok looking] hall that is "steeped in history and tradition". It is flooded with engineering people cos it's a one-minute walk away from Engineering. Alright, to look on the bright side, there's still a small community of FASS people there and actually most of the girls there are from FASS, the engineering people are mostly guys. hai, stereotypes do have some truth in them. I haven't finished packing my stuff but there's so much to move I really dread lugging all that stuff all the way to NUS. The worst is that I'll have to do this all over again when vacation comes in December! :( I need a driver! haha anyone who has passed their driving test is most welcome to volunteer your services, it will be greaty appreciated :p

Oh yeah, I saw Felicia from st nicks there too. The one from one of the three-pure science classes. She' really skinny now, I wasn't sure it was her at first. I mean she was slim to begin with but if you've seen her recently, her waist is like 20 inches and her arms are like sticks. Ahhh.. scary. Haha but skinny or otherwise, she's pretty so many guys already began hitting on her on the first day of hall orientation. Uh oh, I'm sounding like the reporter of NUS Raffles Hall Gossip News or something.

My, does ANYBODY read this blog at all? Haha. Right, I'm once again slacking at home after quitting my previous admin job late march. Really can't stand the rubbish office politics and the boringness of the job. Heh only lasted two months at that job. Seriously, you get paid but you feel like your brain is rotting and you're wasting your youth for that pathetic amount of money. But I must say the job made me appreciate what my parents have done for the family, for putting up with their crap jobs to support the family. I'm hoping to try relief teaching, to get a feel of being a teacher cos I'm considering being one in future. Unfortunately none of the 20 schools I called up required my service. So anyone out there who knows of any schools which have vacancies for relief teacher, please tell me!!
Anyway, think most of you all who applied for university would have received your letters from the universities by now. Come on, update here on what you're going to do next! (since I think most of you are either busy studying or working and an outing would be quite hard) I'm going to NUS FASS (Hands up, all those who are going there!!), most probably going to major in Chinese (yeah I see eyes widening at me). Not that I'm very proud of my Chinese or what, heck I got a C for it at A levels, how encouraging. It's just that it's relatively more appealing to me than other courses like history. Yup. That's all for now. UPDATE, people!

heys!! it's already december ppl! haha.. how time flies. heyhey.. u guys muz be damn stressed by promos now i guess.. haha.. work hard k!! u all sure can make it wans.. yupyup.. well.. cos u guys made it in O's!! haha..

btw.. poly life aint that lax too.. do u noe that for every module that i fail i hafta retake that module.. if i fail again i will be like expelled?? haha.. n we change modules EVERY semester.. thus at the end of every semester, there is a MAJOR exam for the modules we are takin for that semester.. normally it's an average of 3-4 modules per semester.. like for example this semester im takin microbiology, inorganic n physical chem, maths.. now is the middle of the semester so im havin common tests.. which has quite a high percentage too.. at the end of the semester i will have the final exams.. each n every test n assignment contributes to my final mark.. final exam only 40%.. n attitude oso got 5% cans.. haha.. lame.. so it's like every year i have 2 major exams lar.. whereas jc u have 1 midyr n 1 final yr.. yupyup.. dat's about it lar..

oh.. n the grading system in my sch.. i dunno about other polys lar.. my sch's grading system is like F, E, D, C, B, A, AD.. yup.. AD is ADistinction lar.. yup..

next semester im takin physiology, organic & biological chem, cell biology.. yupyup.. my course sounds damn interestin rite.. haha.. heard that if i ever make it to uni same course, i will be able to jump straight to 2nd year n join u guys.. cos wad im studyin now is uni 1st yr.. yup.. gd huh.. BUT.. haha.. gettin into uni wun be easy mans.. haha..

Activities will be held all around the CHIJMES

performances during the day. There will also be
tours around the CHIJMES with old girls and NUNs
telling stories about the Old days and
significance of that particular spot.

Anyways, the alumnae(old girls) of the Various
schools have been tasked to fill up the
graveyard shift ( 10pm to 7am) with events and
activities.

Hence, St. Nicks is taking up the 3am to 6am
shift. Please let me know if anyone is gearing
up to do a performance. It's free and easy...no
hard and fast rule. If you don't wish to put up
anything, at least try to drop by...get together
with old friends and Make CHIJMES the Meeting

ehs ,shuhui..ny u can't be more water-proof than nj u lors..it's 7 secs fire-proof n 8 secs water-proof.. haha..the jcguide.com thingy din call us the reservoirs for nothing :p it's really hot! esp when u're sweating it's sooo uncomfortable.miss st nix pinafore..so easy n comfortable to wear.. now the shirt mus tuck in then carefully pull out to the right length. oh yah..n mus be alert for the principal or sharon phua the DM.. they got an issue with ppl tucking out..but then if really tuck in really lks qt disproportionate..haha..my mum got confused by me which is the correct way to wear..anw..jc or not..do update us on ur life yah?

aj de O2 is.....sianx.esp for 1st intakers...nt tt 2nd intakers hai le wo men, but it's reallie sort of stupid and lame and dumb to repeat everythng again ritex!!? like...haf to listen to mickey mouse tok (mickey mouse=principal..cos he has BIG ears *haha*) for a second time!! and the subject talks!! and the lang talks!! cannot tahan liao...the audi seats v cramp..and we kept on fidgetting..den we juz sat on the stairs dere and tok...haf the super comfy de walls!! act is nt walls lor...cos is nt hard!! i tink is made of cushion..can lie agst it lor!! so soft..hehee~ den we had this reallie stupid "icebreaker"...called "honey, wld u marry me?" or " honey,do u love me?"....super corny...it's like..a guy haf to go up to a girl and ask "honey,do u love me?" (or marry lar.) den the girl haf to answer him "no" w/t laughing or smiling!!! this is like super hard!! and super lame!! ritex? *nods heads*

hei peeps.. im sorri this blog looks like a new one.. bcos it IS a new one.. cos i gaf shumi the wrong advice to do to change her blog acc used for class blog so she heed my so called "advice" and ended up deleting the whole thing.. it's all my fault!! oh my god im so sorri! urgh! im so stupid.. hmm think now we can only start all over again lorz.. hmm i will nid some time to rebuild the blog so hang on k.. i will try to add everyone back to the blog asap.. use the same mtd i taught to join back into the class blog.. paiseh :P
